About Hepworth Motor Co. Ltd.

Hepworth Motor Co. Ltd. are a family run, new and used car dealership based just outside Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Operating for over 50 years, they specialise in Daihatsu, Great Wall and premium quality new and used cars. In addition, they also offer servicing and maintenance within their in-house workshop.

The Objective

Hepworth Motor Co. Ltd are forward-thinking and are preparing for the influx of electric vehicles passing through their dealership. Currently, they are not able to take on EVs, due to the inability to provide customers with a fully charged vehicle once purchased. The dealership’s partnering manufacturers had also stipulated that they need to install EV charge points in order to accommodate and cater for their new electric vehicles.

The installation of several EV charge points will not only give them the ability to become an EV dealer, but also provide customers with a fully charged vehicle post- purchase and after servicing.

The Project

We installed two Easee charge points in a black finish to the exterior wall of the dealership site, near the in-house workshop. This allowed the Hepworth Motors team to easily charge vehicles before selling or after servicing.

We have connectivity to the EV system so that we can identify any faults remotely, ensuring Hepworth Motors are never without a working charge point.
