Initial installation

We use a range of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) products and our own team of local engineers to install your charge points to the highest standards.

Monitoring

We monitor for charge point availability, status, energy usage and faults. Faults are identifying and resolved remotely (whenever we can). If we need to send an engineer, they’ll be there within 4hrs. That’s a promise.

Maintenance

Regular monitoring carried out by our maintenance team ensure efficient charge points in tip-top condition, all year round.

Reporting

Receive tailored reporting for your business. How much energy is a certain vehicle using? What’s my fleet’s carbon footprint? We have the data.

Energy use payments

We calculate and separate the electricity for personal and business use and charge the necessary amount directly to the supplier on your behalf.

OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) & Infrastructure Grant

Reduce the upfront cost of your workplace EV charge points, their installation, as well as any necessary infrastructure needed with the:

Save up to £14,000 with the OZEV WCS grant for a maximum of 40 sockets per company, and up to 75% off the cost of installing the necessary infrastructure with the OZEV Infrastructure Grant.

Both grants can be used on the same site, but they can’t be used for the same charge points.

If you qualify, we’ll take care of the grant on your behalf, when you have a 36 month monitoring contract with us.

How much will EV charge points cost?

The cost of EV charge point installation is bespoke, as each site and business is different. We’ll carry out a site survey to give you an accurate quotation. However, charge point prices start at £699 per unit (when qualifying for the OZEV grant). Once installed, the cost of charging an electric vehicle depends on your chosen energy tariff, but based on UK averages, it is assumed that 100 miles will cost approximately £4.

How do I manage my workplace EV charging system?

Our dedicated eFaraday management app is the best way to manage and be in full control of your workplace EV charging system. Available on any smart device or desktop, it’s powered by iEquos cloud-based software and provides you will full insight and reporting on all charge points, as well as the ability to manage individual drivers, tariffs and charge points. Set opening times, charging costs, user access and more.

Which type of charge point is best for workplace EV charging?

The type of charge point you choose for your workplace EV charging will depend on the nature of your business and how you plan for your charge points to be used. In general, we recommend using charge points with speeds of 7kW-22kW for workplace EV charging if it’s solely for employee use. However, many businesses also find a fast or rapid charger to be a great asset to their workplace EV charging network, especially if they also offer public charging access. Speak to the eFaraday team to discuss your options.
