The Project

We installed 12 Easee One, 22kW charge points in the college’s York campus car park, each with its own dedicated EV charging parking bay. The Easee charge points were double-mounted onto purpose-built posts for a neat and tidy installation. We installed a protective barrier in front of each post for added protection of the charge points, as well as wheel stops and full painting of the designated bays. We also supplied all signage to direct EV drivers on how to use the charge points and pay for their session.

Askham Bryan College uses our dedicated eFaraday platform to manage and control its charge point system. Powered by iEquos software, it allows them to easily set up custom tariffs for visitors, students and staff, payment terms and new users. They are also able to view their energy usage, carbon footprint and full availability and charging status of each charge point.

Every EV charge point on the site is remotely monitored by us 24/7, via a dedicated ARC manned by monitoring operatives. This minimises charge point downtime and instantly identifies any issues in real-time, with the ability for them to be resolved remotely, when possible.
